Hey everyone! Im not really sure which category to put this in. Anyways, I just recetly moved to San Francisco (couple months) and im not really familiar with the area that much. Im taking my date to a classy restaurant but I want to do something either before or after the date, either fun or romantic. Im a mature college student and money isnt really a problem, so any suggestions whether it being cheap or expensive, would be appreciated. I think it's fun to take a date for a ride on the cable cars, especially the ones can catch at Powell %26amp; Market. The two different lines go over the steep hill but different routes to Fisherman's Wharf, which is a fun, lively place to walk around and have nice bay views. Tourist-y things to do there, crab shacks and lots of bars.
Could take the golden gate ferry from financial district to Sausalito or Larkspur in Marin. Even better- bring a bike.
Haight street is fantastic place to do some people watching, get ben and jerry's ice cream, record shop at ameoba, vintage clothes and snack at "Cha Cha Cha" if you like tapas.
If you want to get wild later and hit the clubs, I'd suggest South of Market area. Cat club in particular has good rock and 80s if thats your thing. Dna lounge has a fab dj mash-up night called "booty"Romantic or fun things either before or after a dinner date (San Francisco)?
After dinner, drive to treasure island to see SF skyline and night view
If you don't have a car, take Muni #108 there
