How long does it take to drive the California coastline? I'm thinking Santa Barbara to San Francisco? Thanks!?

Do you think it is doable in a little over a week?

Also any tips on things i must stop to see would be greatly appreciated...word on the street is there is an incredibly old tree that goes by the name General Sherman, hehe. How long does it take to drive the California coastline? I'm thinking Santa Barbara to San Francisco? Thanks!?
Yeah, over a week is enough time.

Like, the coastal drive in Cali is like.. all the way from Mexico thru Washing, Orengan and then eventually to Canada.

But yeah, if you're just stayin inside of California, then a week would be fine.

btw, right now is the best time to go 'cause it's beauuuutiful! How long does it take to drive the California coastline? I'm thinking Santa Barbara to San Francisco? Thanks!?
The most beautiful scenic driving from LA to SF is to drive though Hwy 1( 492 miles, 11 hour driving, from Santa Barbara is 109 miles shorter), you can see most beautiful coastline( Big Sur, Hearst Castle, and Central California)How long does it take to drive the California coastline? The driving time is only like 8 hours by the most scenic route. Maybe 3 days is all you need even if you stop to see the sights. A week will kill you with boredom. How long does it take to drive the California coastline? I'm thinking Santa Barbara to San Francisco? Thanks!?
A week is good.
