If you enjoys musicals and money is no object, there are currently three Broadway shows playing in San Francisco (Wicked, Dreamgirls, Beauty and the Beast). Michael Mina has a signature restaurant at the Westin St. Francis. The pre-theatre special is certainly not cheap at $60 a person. But you'd still spend considerably less than you would at the sister restaurant inside the Bellagio.

For something different, Yoshi's is one of my personal favorites. It is one of the best jazz clubs in the city. The sushi restaurant isn't bad either. Combining African American culture and Asian cuisine is very "San Francisco." And who knew these two things worked so well together?
