Fun Stuff To Do Near San Francisco?

We are staying about 2 hours away from San Francisco and we wanna do something fun. What are some really fun but cheap things to do in California that is somewhat close to San Francisco or Sacramento and such? Thanks, the funnest idea gets 10 points!Fun Stuff To Do Near San Francisco?
In San Francisco it is always fun to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. Take your camera as there is a great view of the city from the bridge.



Santa Cruz south of San Francisco is a great little beach town with an amusement park along the beach. It's a great place to spend a day on the beach.



If you enjoy wine, you will find many wine regions in Northern California. Wineries in Livermore, Lodi, Santa Cruz, Amador, and Calaveras County will usually let you sample wine for free. Take a drive past the Golden Gate Bridge and stop by Sausalito to walk around %26amp; for a bite to eat (I heard Fish is suppose to be a great casual restaurant) and then drive, onto the Marine Headlines for views and Mt. Tam for a short hike.



If you are not tired, go into San Francisco and park over at the 4th %26amp; Mission garage. Next take a walk around Union Square and then, head over to the Sony Metreon to check out the shops %26amp; for some virtual bowling. For dinner, Boca Di Beppo (family style Italian food) or for a good bargain, go to Westfield Shopping Center's food court which offers good gourmet eats for a food court price :-)
