What is the weather like in san francisco in november?

i will be going there in november.. heading over on the 5th of november. just wondering what it will be like out there... shorts and t shirt weather or big winter coat

San Francisco in November can be pretty nice - but it won't be shorts weather (the only times you really ever need shorts in San Francisco is during a random Indian summer heatwave - usually in September and maybe early October). Layers are definitely the way to go - since it can often be breezy and the nights can be cool and damp/foggy. Bring comfortable shoes - San Francisco is a great city to walk. I especially like hitting up the Ferry Building for some fabulous food and walking the Embarcadero from the ballpark all the way down to the Golden Gate. Oh - and walking across the Golden Gate bridge can be wonderful, but will be very very cold.What is the weather like in san francisco in november?

weather in November is not great but not horrible. usually its cold or windy. if your lucky the sun will come out. if you do choose to come here you should try the metreon. it is a great place for eating and watching movies. there is even an arcade in it!What is the weather like in san francisco in november?
The trick is to dress in layers. Wear a tshirt with a light sweater over it, and maybe a light rain jacket as well. Then if you get too hot/cold you can remove/add layers easily.



November should be pretty nice, its a little early for rain, but it is possible. I would say highs in the 60s lows in the high 40s. The wind can get strong at times though, and the fog can be thick, so bring sweatshirts or light jackets.
the weather can be a bit hit or miss like always. bring enough clothes for some chilly/wet days but you may be plesently surprised with some sunny days!
