For a brief question, you cover a lot of ground. I would suggest: For dinner and shopping:Union Street, Fillmore Street, Union Square, Hayes Valley
For nightlife and such: North Beach (as much of the life in the night is restaurant style, so no worries about the underage).

City Nights on saturday is just way too packed
