Sweet Sixteen in San Francisco in January?

My sixteenth birthday is on Jan 20th and I'm planning on celebrating it on the 24th.I was planning on having lunch and hanging out at Ocean Beach(San Francisco) and then going to the movies around 4pm and maybe eating dinner at a restaurant. The thing is the weather is unpredictable and i was wondering if there was something cheap i could do (with 4 or 5 friends) in SF if it rains?Sweet Sixteen in San Francisco in January?
What different would it make if it was raining, unless you're outside walking or something. You can go to museums, the pier, park, haight etc.. Or buy a map and umbrella and explore. Then again, there's always the mall.Sweet Sixteen in San Francisco in January?
Even if it doesn't rain, at Ocean Beach it's going to be probably no warmer than 50 degrees and windy. Bring very warm clothes. I don't go there without sweatshirts, in the middle of the summer! Inside things are not what SF are known for. So I don't have any suggestions for any indoor activities.Sweet Sixteen in San Francisco in January?
Go to the Metreon. It has everything but the beach. You can eat in the restaurants there, watch movies, play arcade games, go shopping.

Same with the Westfield Mall, now that it has a theater.
