Intermediate Swimming Class at City College of San Francisco?

So I am planning to enroll in a summer swimming course at City College, but I am hesitant as to whether I should enroll myself into the beginning swimming class or the intermediate swimming class because I do know some of the basic swimming techniques but I dont know if enrolling myself into the intermediate swimming course will be too rigorous of a course for me. So for all those who have taken either of these classes at CCSF, could you kindly list down some of the things you learned in the beginning swimming class and/or the things you learned in the intermediate swimming class?

if you are a beginner, you need to learn to swim. intermediate; you can swim, but you could definately use improvement. advanced: you compete.
