How much does it cost to park in San Francisco?

I'm going on a trip to San Francisco, and I was just wondering if anyone had any idea how much it costs to park there? We'll be downtown mostly, near the Parc55 Hotel. We'll keep the car at the hotel mostly (convention thing), but might have to go out from time to time. Is there a general price for parking hourly? How much does it cost to park in San Francisco?
Parc55 Parking Rates.

Convenient parking is available at our Downtown San Francisco hotel. Rates are $44 + 14% tax per night for a regular size car and $54 + 14% tax per night for an oversized car.

There are places you can self park your vechicle at like O'farrell parking garage which is 2 blocks from your hotel and directly across from Macys.

Prices vary from garage to garage and lot to lot. The cheapest parking is in the city-owned garages; in the Union Square area that's Sutter/Stockton and 5th and Mission.

Be careful to read parking signs carefully. You'll see something like "parking $3.00," but then in the small print it will say "every 15 minutes."
