In addition to dinner (food is important), see if there are any concerts playing. Or take him to the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. Yeah, it's 50 miles, but you can talk during the drive. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and go to the Marin Headlands (also known as the Golden Gate National Recreation Area). Muir Woods, Mount Tamalpais, Stinson Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore, and Muir Beach (my personal favorite) are all around there. There is the Marine Mammal rescue center, two lighthouses, (Point Bonita and Point Reyes Light) and lots of open space, trails, and bike trails. The views are fantastic. During Feb to Apr. and Sept to Nov. you can see the whales migrating along the coast.
For grinds, visit Sausalito, Mill Valley, or go out to Olema and Tomales for fresh oysters.Any suggestions for fun date ideas in San Francisco?
Well Texas de Brazil is an all you can eat Brazilian steak house and is quite far from normal. The food is amazing. After maybe you could take a stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge :)Any suggestions for fun date ideas in San Francisco?
Go to fisherman's warf, pier 39,eat clam chowder go to th museums see all the attractions
Take him for a walk over the golden gate bridge.
