What is there to do in Sacramento and San Francisco?

I'm thinking about taking a trip to Sacramento and San Francisco in early January what are some things I can do? Please help because other than alcatraz I don't know what I can do. Thanks!What is there to do in Sacramento and San Francisco?

idk about Sacramento to be honest, but San Francisco has beautiful scenery, the city has a lot of malls and sites. The golden gate bridge, I know you don't wanna just sit there and stare at it, but the city's architecture and terrain (hilly) can be stared at forever.

It's so diverse there and that place is just an enigma in a good way.



I haven't been there, but I deff wanna go sometime soon.
Ironic, I just got back from San Francisco uhh, 2 hours ago.



Heres what we did in a matter of 2 days in San Francisco.



Saturday Morning- Alcatraz (go early and allow a couple hours)

Saturday- Chinatown, biked across the Golden Gate, the Coit Tower, and just walked around the city

Saturday Night- Sunset Cruise in then Bay (it was really fun, but foggy)



Sunday- We went to Muir Woods, Wine Country (we toured a winery), and Stenson beach.

If you enjoy wine, I'd suggest visiting Napa. There are lots of great wineries where you can taste wine. This area is also known for its wonderful restaurants...and there are many to choose from.



Other activities: shopping, hot air balloon rides, golf, picnicing

There is absolutely nothing to do in Sacramento !!! Trust me, lived here all my life. Save your money for the attractions in San Francisco!
