Will be in san francisco this weekend?

Hey everyone. I am visiting my brother in Sunnyvale for Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Thing is he doesn't travel up to San Francisco much. So neither he, nor I obviously know what there really is to do there.



Aside form the obvious Alcatraz or Gate Bridge, any other suggestions? Any events going on this coming up weekend?Will be in san francisco this weekend?
pier 39 fisherman wharf, eat at joes crab shack its very good..ride the cable cars...all the tourist hot spots..check out the new sf westfield mall on market %26amp; 5th ..

Stroll the Marina District and do lunch or dinner at Fisherman's Wharf, go out to the Naval Base there and see the big ships, they sometimes have tours of the large carriers in dock. There's also the San Francisco Aquarium.Will be in san francisco this weekend?
I just got back from SF after staying thurs-sun. Besides Alcatraz and the bridge we went to Golden Gate Park, walked around fisherman's wharf and the piers, pier 39 has the sea lions, went to Salsalito (about a 15 drive), saw Ocean beach and the SF zoo. You can also go to a giants game if they are in town or the aquarium. But the most fun was taking a bus tour to Napa for the day, if you guys are 21 or older. Can also check out the redwoods.Will be in san francisco this weekend?
Pier 39 %26amp; Fishermans Wharf are great little touristy areas. They have lots of little shops %26amp; restaurants. It's a must see..You can even watch Sea Lions do their natural thing in the bay! Coit tower is nice...I wasn't able to go in but we drove up the hill %26amp; saw the view that just being on the hill gave. Lombard St. is fun %26amp; free! China town is cool...Hmm...I also LOVE Ocean Beach! If you want any other ideas, feel free to email me! I hope you enjoy your stay!!!
You can do many things in San Francisco.



For the peaceful trip: You can go to Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, etc.



For the shopping trip: You can go downtown or Chinatown.



For a historical trip: You can go to Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, take a cable car, etc.



For a fun-educational trip: You can go to museums or aquariums or the SF Zoo right by Ocean Beach.



Also try out some restaurants.
