My coven and I have been traveling to Pantheacon for the last three years..we always end with a 3 day trip in San Francisco..but its getting just a little stale doing the same stuff over again. This year we plan an Alcatraz Night tour, does anyone have any other suggestions? We will be there the second week of Feb. Things to do In San Francisco?
Have you done the Hornblower Yacht dinner cruise? Might be kind of expensive......... depending on your budget. It will be pretty cold there in mid-Feb, so make sure you bring warm clothes especially for night tours. Have you done all the Ripley's Wax Museum kind of thing? Toured Chinatown and Golden Gate Park w/the museums, and the gardens and aquarium?
You may want to get a copy of the book "Bay Area Backroads": it's got some great off-the-beaten track stuff to do in the general area. Have you walked across the GG bridge and back? Visited neighboring Sausalito? (great shopping!)

I live near San Fransico, so there are tons of places you can go.
For starters, theres westfield mall, more then four stories high and full of divine stores.
There is a lovely quaint little cafe near SF Airport called Cafe Grillades. Its so sweet and quaint. Its one of my favorite places to dine. Its french, and it features crepes and paninis. Heres the website: http://www.cafegrillades.com/
the aquarium in the bay is nice too.
Great America is in Santa Clara, which is near SF, and its an AWESOME amusement park. IT might be closed though. Check it out.
