Things to do in Monterey, Carmel, and San Francisco?

Im going there with my family in May. Not very familiar with the citys, and we need some things to do while we're there.

(Serious answers.... No suggesting strip joints got it?)Things to do in Monterey, Carmel, and San Francisco?
Aquarium in Monterey, also their is a little pier with graet food. Walk along the beach and look in the tidepools near the aquarium.

Carmel has a beach and a very old church, the Mission, it is free to go there. Also tour the town, it is historic.

San Francisco, you must ride the cable car, it goes to a park, and their is a museum their too, I think a maritime museum. Also go to the botanical garden, and the big park by the Golden Gate bridge. Plus lots of museums and good places to eat.Things to do in Monterey, Carmel, and San Francisco?

What everybody else has said, AND take a side trip to Santa Cruz to see the boardwalk. They may even have the amusement park portion of it open by then.
