San francisco?

what are some fun things to do in San FranciscoSan francisco?
Depending on how long you are staying...but some of the top things I always suggest to people visiting SF is to do the Alcatraz tour, visit Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square for yummy ice cream sundaes %26amp; chocolates. If you are adventureous, bike or walk over the Golden Gate Bridge, stop by Sausalito (1st small town right after then bridge), take the ferry back to SF (there are 2 different boats; one goes back to Pier 41 and another goes to the Ferry Building (Pier 1)). You can also walk to Chinatown and Northbeach from the Pier (about 5 blocks) or take the bus. From the ferry building, you can take the F line trolley to visit Downtown and Castro. Haight/Ashbury is a bit farther away from everything else but is interesting to see and lots of interesting shops. Golden Gate Park is right next to the Haight; there are many museums there.

Like the majority of tourists, the best place to stay either in Downtown right outside of downtown like SOMA. You will be close to public transportation (Muni, BART, and walking distance to lots of stores).

Hope this helps!San francisco?
Just walking the hills of that beautiful city is fun, and great exercise. Cable cars are fun too. Fisherman's Wharf and rdelli Square are nice to hang out at.San francisco?
Golden Gate Park (museums, Japanese Tea Gardens, windmills), walking on the beach and the view from the Cliff House, shopping in Union Square, walking through the Haight, walking/biking across the Golden Gate Bridge, taking a cable car, going to a Giants game, getting inexpensive massages in Japantown, eating your way through Chinatown...LOTS to do!San francisco?
Hike around the gorgeous bay, for fabulous views. The night time Alcatraz tour is awesome, but make sure the ferry isn't on strike. Find some hip young kids and ask where the parties are. Go see live music at one of a billion clubs. Troll the Mission or Polk Gulch for the wonderful bars.
