I'm going to be going to San Francisco in December. Any suggestions on things to see & do, besides the usual?

I'm going to be staying over Christmas and New Years, so I'm hoping to cram as much in as I can. Shopping, see the sights, tours, yadda yadda yadda. Also, what should I pack? I know everyone says layers, but I'm not quite sure, since it's going to be winter and all.

Thanks!I'm going to be going to San Francisco in December. Any suggestions on things to see %26amp; do, besides the usual?
While you are in SF, there will be numerous events that you might want to check out. The SF Symphony will present The Colors of Christmas (an annual event). Check out the website for more details. Also, the Tony Award-winning play "Color Purple" will make a stop in SF from 10/29 - 12/23. You might also want to see a performance of Cirque de Soleil, scheduled to make a stop in SF during the holidays. Tickets for all these events will sell out fast, so be sure and check the websites asapI'm going to be going to San Francisco in December. you should wear at least 2-3 layers. it's about 45-55 degrees during winter.

places to go, downtown shopping center. )just ask anyone they'll tell you.) SF chinatown, which is VERY unique. Fisherman's wharf, pier 39, twin peaks for a view of the whole city, and japan town. just stay away from hunter's point, fillmore and T.L. There's nothing to do in sunset except go on Irving street.

Have fun!
