Cool things to do in San Francisco for kids?

I have a 17 month old and a friend of mine will be visiting the city with his daughter who is in 4th or 5th grade now. I already have a list but was looking for anything I may have missed. We'll have 3 days in San Fran. Here's my list - feel free to add to it please!

Pier 39

Fisherman's Wharf

Ghiradelli Square - are they even still making chocolate there?

Cable Cars %26amp; Cable Car Museum

Golden Gate Park

Hanging out under the Golden Gate Bridge and/or walking across it

SF Museum of Modern Art

Exploratorium

The Zoo

Checking out Lombard St

Coit Tower

The Cliff House - and that cool little place underneath with all the games!

The Tide Pools next to the Cliff House

Ice Skating outside- If I remember correctly, it's somewhere by where you get off the Ferry (But I don't know if it's still in season)

I guess I have a good start. But can still use your help! Thanks!!!Cool things to do in San Francisco for kids?
Good list, limit your time at the wharves, major tourist trap. Instead spend some time in Chinatown, dirt cheap t-shirts,souvenirs, incredible food.

Another kid museum is the Randall at 1 museum way. A small natural history museum. Plants, critters and hands on stuff for the kids.

A collection of Buffano sculptures, kid sized! Admission Free and an AMAZING view of The City.

The Conservatory Of Flowers at GG park is a fine choice for a girl that age. It's a national landmark, and the oldest existing conservatory in N. America.

Oh, and amazing architecture, be sure to look at the pics.

Inside, is very calming for a 17 mo. old, as long as he/she enters that way.

Have you looked at California Academy of Sciences? They have cool stuff like an an aquarium.
Sorry to piggy back onto your question! I'm also coming to San Francisco with a child and wanted to be able to save this thread for the great ideas.Cool things to do in San Francisco for kids?
