im 16 and i live in san jose but when im older i wanna move to san francisco and be a cop there, or be in band there. XD
anyway, i was just wondering what kind of these things there are to do there, and how the traffic is and stuff. What will life be like if i live in San Francisco when im an adult?
They are always recruiting new cops.
San Francisco has around 850 sheriff's deputies and 2,400 police officers. Which is an unusually large force for a city its size. This is because (1) suburban hoodlums often come into San Francisco to commit crimes; (2) San Francisco often hosts dignitaries requiring extra security (Barack Obama, Dmitry Medvedev, and Hu Jintao all arrived within a few weeks of each other over summer); and (3) the place is a magnet for political protests.

San Francisco has produced a few famous bands (Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane). And across the bridge, Oakland has played a leading role in the development of hip-hop culture on the West Coast. Locals in both cities tend to be supportive of musicians. You can certainly join a band if that's what you want to do, as there are plenty of venues for you to play in.
However, the center of the music universe in America - arguably the world - is Los Angeles. That's where you'll find the talent scouts, screaming teenage girls, and record executives. If your dreams are of red carpets rather than dingy bars, then you will probably have to join the pack down south. Though, unless you count reality television, the chances of success for those who actively seek fame are pretty slim. It typically comes to those who least expect it.
So, you might want to stay in San Francisco, trust your talents, and let the chips fall where they may. What will life be like if i live in San Francisco when im an adult?
If you like brutality against children and women, or just generally like to execute people before arrest, SFPD is for you. Unfortunately, the $45,000 salary won't get you very far here, so you'll probably have to commute from San Jose. Maybe CHP is a better route?
