What are some nerdy/geeky things to do / places to visit in San Francisco?

I am visiting there for the first time from the Sept 30 to Oct 5, if that helps for maybe any events or anything of any interest. I don't have a ton of money but I'll spend a little bit if it's something awesome. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks! What are some nerdy/geeky things to do / places to visit in San Francisco?
