What are absolute must see sights in San Francisco?

Going to San Francisco next weekend. Just wondering what are the best things to do and see and shop. What are absolute must see sights in San Francisco?
If you love chocolate, you could stop at the historic Ghiradelli chocolate factory and soda fountain. It's at Ghiradelli Square, naturally. Ghirardelli Square is located at 900 North Point Street between Beach and Larkin Streets. It is near the west end of Fisherman's Wharf, two blocks east of Van Ness Avenue and one block west of the Cable Car turnaround at Beach and Hyde Streets.

Stop at Pier 39 for some lovely crab cakes and a bit of shopping, also a good place to see some marine wild life. You can also get your tix for boat rides to Alcatraz Island there.

Those are just a couple of the places that can easily fill your day. . .What are absolute must see sights in San Francisco?
