If your of age you can always visit the winery. Oh my, it's sooooo nice and tasty!
Go walking around the palace of fine arts. It is in the Marina area. It would be a great date thing to do that is diffenent and lets you talk and enjoy the scenery. I have seen movie shots done there and the outdoor walking path is free of course. Then if things go well take the date inside.
