Me and my boyfriend are planning to take a little weekend getaway to San Francisco in a couple weeks. What are some things we can do? Restuarants? Attractions?What are some fun things to do in San Francisco?
Stroll Fisherman's Wharf and eat chowder from bread bowls, check out the museum ships. Take the ferry tour to Alcatraz. We got BART passes and spent several hours riding around. We saw Chinatown, the Presidio, North Beach, Haight Ashbury, etc.

We live near SF and have taken our out of town kids and grandkids there a couple times. We all loved Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, the Ferry Building, clam chowder in bread bowls (has to be from Boudin), the ships, and what we all loved was the old arcade on Pier 39. Three generations of us all love it. And it's still only a quarter a game! Oh, and eat at The Stinking Rose if you like garlic. If both of you load up on garlic, you won't notice each other's breath! :)
