Why do people say negative things about San Francisco when they've never been there?

I'm so sick of conservative trolls making negative comments about San Francisco. They've clearly never been there. I live in the Midwest, I vacation there. I can honestly say that it's the most beautiful city that I've ever been to. It's funny when cons who live in cities with low life quality want to trash a beautiful city like San Francisco. It's probably a good thing that they're scared of the city, keeps the trash out!Why do people say negative things about San Francisco when they've never been there?
San Francisco was the best place I visited when i traveled around the states. I stayed in a place called little japan I think and it was really nice. alcatraz is a must and I love the weather there is gives it a certain mystical feel. Although I think the trams are a bit too expensive for public transport.Why do people say negative things about San Francisco when they've never been there?
I was born and raised in the midwest i also lived in CA. for 5 years on the east bay side.

Frisco is a nice town for history and weather but like most southern CA areas it suffers with huge numbers of homeless and pan handlers the castro district is just a freak show, and like most of southern CA the people are arrogant self absorbed assbags.

I had a townhouse in San Leandro that cost me over a half mill and for what an 1800 a month mortgage nut and a rat race. Screw that sold it and bought 180 acres outright in Mi. and am fat and happy.
I've lived near there, and many friends live near there in the Bay Area, and nearly all are conservative Republicans.

In fact NONE are gay or fit any stereotype there.

It's a major business center, and many East Coast blue blood and Ivy League Conservative types live there.Why do people say negative things about San Francisco when they've never been there?
