2. ...so?
3. Evidence please?
4. You know what else is banned that is harmful to your health? Bootleg alcohol. It's certainly wrong to ban something that can kill you.

6. The CEO of the company that makes Segways got killed by one.
7. So it's illegal to ban things in buildings you own now?

Don't forget the time the San Fran mayor wanted to keep the USMC out when they were filming a commercial. Tried to ban the Marines; yea that didn't happen.Liberals, do you agree with these 10 things San Francisco has banned? Do you want the USA to be like this?
Yes. But you will still be able to get a toy with your happy meal.
When happy meal toys are outlawed, only outlaws will have happy meal toys.
The next thing they are going after is circumcised penis'. I am not making that up.
Actually it's conservatives who insist on enforcing their moral beliefs on everyone else. If some woman decides she's not ready to have a child, that's her decision; if some guy decides that as a form of protest he wants to burn a piece of cloth that is a flag, let him; if someone wants to smoke marijuana, that's their choice, they do not belong in jail.
Your examples are by and large matters of environmental and health concern. Maintenance of public health is probably the most important job of government. As an example, are you suggesting that all regulations with respect to food safety or consumer protection be abandoned? Also, government has a duty to preserve the environment for future generations.
To answer your question:
1. No, but little plastic toys can be dangerous.
2. Yes, plastic bags are a scourge. Heard of the Great Pacific garbage patch?
3. Yes, see above.
4. No, that's a little over the top.
5. Yes, for public health. Would you want a chicken coop next door?
6. Yes, for safety. Segways do not mix with motorized traffic, nor with pedestrians on sidewalks.
7. Yes, if that is widely supported, but no ban on pop sales in general.
8. No, I love the Grand Canyon.
9. Yes, if that is widely supported.
10. No, like or not, begging is a constitutional right. If nobody gave money, there would be no panhandlers. Ever heard the expression "killing with kindness"?
@ Return of the Ghost: Unless medically necessary this procedure should be made illegal. It is assault without consent. It is barbaric. I wonder what a doctor would say to a parent who wanted their child's ear chopped off because it's part of their religion, they think it will look better and it would allow for easier cleaning?
3. Bottled Water
Are you suggesting that everybody in San Francisco drinks municipal water? I seriously doubt it.
