Money is really bad now...and I'm having trouble finding fun things to do with my boyfriend and friends. I am sick of golden gate park and the beach for the moment, which are usually my favorites. additional info, no car, live downtown, willing to take muni anywhere in the city. I am well aware of the millions of things to do in the city, but most of them cost money!!! I am open to anything - i love new/strange things. I have to agree with you, its expensive to have fun in SF.
Heres a couple things to do. Its not much but its fun for a date.

Lots and LOTS of street fairs in SF year around. They are free to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere but food and shopping is not free..
